LRC SERVICES REFERENCE SERVICES There are 3 professional librarians on the LRC staff. Ask to speak with one of them if you need assistance with your research. For the convenience of our users, we also offer reference service by e-mail. If you have a question, Ask a Reference Librarian - we will respond within 24 hours. PUBLICATIONS Available in the LRC are Pathfinders, reference guides to finding materials on specific subjects in our library holdings and beyond. We also publish a variety of other instructional and informational handouts, including bibliographies, the LRC Fact Sheet, and Evaluating Web Sites. Information Literacy Instruction (IL) FACULTY: Reference librarians will provide instruction on using library resources, including the LRC Web Site, and doing research on the Internet for you and/or your class(es). Information Literacy Instruction usually takes place in computer labs, and includes hands-on time. IL sessions can be tailored to your class's specific needs. If you are interested in requesting an IL session, please either fill-out the IL request form located at the Circulation Desk or print out and return this FORM to the LRC.
