Asnuntuck Community College hires Coordinator of Academic Information Technology
Enfield, CT--Jay Ayotte of Danielson, CT has joined Asnuntuck Community College as the Coordinator of Academic Information Technology on July 6. In this role, Jay is responsible for scheduling daily operations of the college computer labs, providing support for the Learning Resource Center, Academic Skill Center, classrooms, troubleshooting computing issues, and maintaining the budget. He began his career in IT after serving in the Navy for eight years. He spent five years in Japan and three years in Groton, CT. In addition, he worked at Mohegan Sun and the Uxbridge Public Schools. He has an Associates Degree in Computer Science with a major in networking from Quinebaug Valley Community College. Jay is married to Yoriko Ayotte and they have one daughter, Karena (starting first grade). They are expecting their second child in December.
