Asnuntuck Community College sees need to hire career counselor

Enfield, CT—Stacy Tweedie of Stafford Springs joins the team at Asnuntuck Community College as the Associate Director of Career Services. As enrollments continue to increase and more younger students are registering for classes, the need for a career counselor was apparent.  Ms. Tweedie is an alumnus of Asnuntuck and possesses the enthusiasm and passion for this position which has remained vacant since a retirement in 2004. Ms. Tweedie graduated in May 2006 from Springfield College with her Masters in Education, and brings with her the knowledge and understanding of students needs in the area of career development and planning. While at ACC as a student, Ms. Tweedie was Vice President of fundraising for Phi Theta Kappa and has continued to volunteer in various departments at ACC throughout the years.  Appointments with Ms. Tweedie may be made by calling the college at 860.253.3000.
