Asnuntuck Community College welcomes new Director of Institutional Advancement
Enfield, CT --Susan Stoppelman of Manchester has joined Asnuntuck Community College as Director of Institutional Development. Ms. Stoppelman was formerly Staff Liaison and Director of Development and Communications for Greater Hartford Legal Aid.
At Asnuntuck, Ms. Stoppelman will be responsible for fund raising and will work with the Asnuntuck Community College Foundation Board of Directors to increase donations from both individuals and businesses in the several communities the college serves.
Ms. Stoppelman says she looks forward to "working with the staff and board to make our communities more aware of the jewel on Elm Street and build greater support for the wonderful and important work going on at the college. I've been very impressed at the caliber of staff, the nurturance and caring for students, and the variety of training opportunities I find here."
The mission of the Asnuntuck Community College Foundation is to obtain funds from corporate, alumni, and community members to assist in the development of programs to meet the economic, educational, and employment need of North Central Connecticut.
