Engineering Science


Engineering Science (Associate in Science Degree)
This Engineering Pathway degree is offered system-wide. It consists of course work in engineering, mathematics, sciences, and GENERAL EDUCATION requirements that provide a solid comprehensive background for continuation in a four-year engineering degree program. A grade average of "B" with no grade less than "C" is required for automatic continuation at the University of Connecticut's School of Engineering, University of Hartford's College of Engineering, or the University of New Haven.  The curriculum is designed to serve as the first two years of the Bachelor of Science degree.  Some courses in this program are not offered at Asnuntuck Community College but can be taken at other Connecticut community colleges.

WAIVER POLICY:  In order to waive the foreign language requirement, a student must have a high school transcript that indicates a minimum of three years of study in a single foreign language and successful completion of the most advanced level with a grade of C or higher.
