Radio Broadcasting (Certificate)


This certificate provides radio production theory, terminology, and techniques with an emphasis on the function and operation of studio equipment, to achieve basic and advanced production skills. Students will learn to produce sophisticated studio programming, through the creative use of advanced equipment, including digital audio work stations. Students who earn the radio broadcasting certificate may be employed as radio station disc jockeys, production assistants, promotional staff, or other related positons in a radio station environment. These courses will apply to the communications and broadcasting degree option radio broadcasting at Asnuntuck.
