Computer and Information Systems (Associate in Science Degree)
This program is designed to provide a two-year, college-level curriculum to meet the needs of the business community for personnel with training in the concepts, procedures, and applications of computer systems and equipment. The curriculum provides for instruction in practical application of theory through interaction with a computer system as well as courses in related fields of general education. Mathematics Prerequisite: The CIS department encourages each of its students to study as much mathematics as they can. It requires of all students the minimum of at least one year of high school algebra or its equivalent. This requirement can be satisfied by taking MATH M095 before enrolling in CIS M121.
