Business Office Technology: Medical Administrative Assistant Option (Associate in Science Degree)
This program is designed to meet the needs of the medical community. This program prepares men and women for the highly-specialized, medical office environment. Students are trained in keyboarding, word processing, medical terminology, medical transcription, and medical office procedures. Sociology, psychology, and biology courses are also included in this program.

Graduates are employed by hospitals, medical centers, doctors, dentists, veterinarians, research centers, pharmaceutical and medical publishing houses, large corporations, insurance companies, organizations administering health insurance programs and other business offices requiring a skilled and knowledgeable medical professional.
