NIMS Accredited

The Machine Technology Center at Asnuntuck Community College has been certified by the National Institute for Metalworking Skills as of  December 23, 2006. This accrediation will allow further growth for students and the private sector.

Precision Camera Internship

In April of 2007, three students in the Electronics Department started a 4-month internship at Precision Camera in Enfield, Connecticut.  This has been a gainful experience for the students as well as enhancing a productive relationship with the company. We look forward to continuing our partnership with Precision Camera ad hope this will be the beginning of a series of internships in the future.
