Students and staff from the college are planning a week-long service learning trip to the Be Like Brit orphanage in Grand Goave, Haiti for Spring Break. The group will be spending time with the 66 children who live at the orphanage and will build a home for someone in the Grand Goave community.

Asnuntuck Community College (ACC) recently held a ribbon cutting ceremony for a new Level 2 GE Electric DuraStation on their campus. Open to the public 24/7, the vehicle charging station will allow owners of electric vehicles to boost the energy in their car free of charge. It is capable of reducing charge time down to 2-4 hours.
